Testing Service
Blind Peptide Identity Test
Blind identification of peptide content against the laboratory's supported analytical library when the expected identity is unknown or undisclosed.
What this test measures
When you order the Blind Peptide Identity Test, the laboratory analyzes your submitted sample without a declared expected peptide identity. HPLC-MS/MS library identification seeks a supported identity match within the laboratory's current reference scope. Results describe the analyzed sample only — not other vials, batches, suppliers, or future production.
What you receive
A Certificate of Analysis delivered electronically when testing is complete and results are released.
Testing methodology
This service uses HPLC-MS/MS library identification to seek peptide identity within the laboratory's supported reference scope when the expected identity is unknown or undisclosed. It is not the full Peptide Analysis package: chromatographic purity and net peptide content are not part of this purchased service unless separately ordered. Heavy Metals (ICP-MS) and Endotoxin (LAL) are separate published testing services.
Sample requirements
Exact quantity depends on the test and analyte. After payment, VialTests provides submission instructions for your order. The laboratory analyzes the sample as received.
